CSI Investment Institute

The CSI Investment Institute, abbreviated as CSI, was initiated in 2012 by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sangsit Piriyarangsan, who, presently, is a member of the Thai Senate and the Chairman of the Committee on Poverty Alleviation and Income Inequality Reduction of Thai Parliament.

At that time, he also served as the Dean of the College of Social Innovation at Rangsit University. Dr. Veraphong Chutipat, a former director of the Thai Investors Association and an Assistant Dean, was a key figure in its founding.

Dr. Sangsit discussed with him , saying, “What can we do to enable the middle-class population of Thailand to have investment knowledge? This would help them survive in the new economy.” As a result, the CSI program, short for Certificate in Strategic Investment for Optimal Return, was established. It initially operated under the College of Social Innovation at Rangsit University.

On Saturday, June 2, 2012, the CSI Investor Training Program, under the College of Social Innovation at Rangsit University, held its inaugural training program for the first generation of investors. Dr. Waritsiri Worajaraschot served as the Chairman for the first generation, and subsequent generations have continued to receive training under various investors.

Over the past decade, the CSI Investor Training Program has now opened up to its 23rd batch.

In addition to the CSI Investor Training Program, the initiative also conducts various other investment-related activities and courses. These include the

– CUV (Stock Analysis in China, US & Vietnam Stock Market) by “Pro Mee” – Thiwa Chinthadaphong, known as “One of the best VI (Value Investor) in Thailand, “Pro Bank” Chayanan Rakanjannont, Founder & CEO Finnomena (One of the best Fund Brokers in Thailand)

– FBI (Fund Flow & Business Model for Investment) training course by Dr. Wisit Ongpipattanakul

-“10-Dart Stock Investment Strategy” course by Thiwa Chinthadaphong (Master Mi), Thammongchai Ekarungroj (Yung..Born to Trade), and Nirand Nirand Pravittayathorn and the “Stock Market Trading Tips for Profits” course by Stock Vitamin.

-SSF (Stock Screening through Financial Statement Analysis) by Dr.Sansakrit Vijitlekhakarn, Faculty of Commerce & Accountancy, Chulalongkorn University

The program has also organized various company visits, both locally and abroad, to stock exchanges and registered companies. These visits have included prominent destinations like

In 2013, the CSI Investor Training Program established the CSI Investment Institute Company Limited to provide comprehensive investment training. The program has continued its activities and education initiatives under the company name CSI Society Company Limited.

It is evident that the program has played a significant role in enhancing investors’ knowledge and understanding of the financial markets.
